Pomule, tu ești întăritorul dulce

Al dorului ce-l port în mine.

Căci doruri multe le mai am,

De omenie, de frăție,

De oameni buni, prietenoși...

M-am săturat să văd numai botoși.

Privesc în fiecare an la tine,

Cum îți porți mugurii de rod,

Cu câtă grijă și iubire

Îi porți pe brațele-ți vânjoase,

Cum îi ajuți până în toamnă,

Nici nu vorbești,

Nici nu te plângi,

De-a lungul primăverii, verii.

Când toamna vine,

Cadou faci rodul tău

La păsări, animale, oameni.
