Și m-am pornit pe drumuri,

Când seara mă culcam,

Eu adormeam cu tine-n gând.

Adesea, alergam mână în mână,

Tu dispăreai cu visu-n noapte.

În zori, din nou porneam

Să te tot caut, mai departe.

Am scris și poezii,

Am construit palate.

Crezând că, într-o zi, ai să citești

Și-mi vei veni aproape.

Am hoinărit pe dealuri

Și prin păduri semețe.

Am mers lângă izvoare

Unde, pe înserate,

Veneau gingașe căprioare.

Te-am căutat prin văi

Acolo unde sunt flori multe,

Că poate-al lor parfum

Va reuși să te îmbete.

Iar eu să vin ușor,

Să mi te iau în brațe,

Să mi te duc acasă

Și parteneră dulce, FERICIRE,

Să-mi fii întreaga viață.
